College Level Examination Program - CLEP
Cambridge Intercontinental University is one of the 2900 institutions of USA & abroad that uses the American Council on Education's (ACE) recommendations for the minimum scores to receive college credit for CLEP examinations. The amount of credit is determined by ACE ( American Council on Education ) recommendations approved by the Cambridge Intercontinental University Education Policy Committee.

The amount of credit is determined by ACE (American Council on Education) recommendations approved by the Cambridge Intercontinental University Education Policy Committee. Credit by exam can be acquired by the following means:
College Level Examination Program (CLEP) with scores according to the following list. A maximum number of 30 credits will be assessed by way of credit by exam.
The amount of credit is granted for each CLEP exam is determined by the equivalent courses at CIU. Many times, these correspond to the ACE recommendations, but in some cases this may vary from the ACE recommendations. A maximum of 30 credits of credit by examination through CLEP will be accepted toward a degree at Cambridge Intercontinental University.
